The Seekers Class is currently studying American Religious History.
Join historian Professor Patrick N. Allitt in exploring the vital and diverse story of religious life in America from the first European contacts to the late 20th century. Examine religion not only as a set of formal beliefs, ideas, communal or institutional loyalties, and styles of worship, but also as an influence on life "beyond the pews." There are 24 lectures in the series. We will be listening to the 30 minute lectures each Sunday from July 24 until October 9. The series will then pickup again November 27 through February 26, 2012. In between these, the Seekers class will examine a series on “Theological Profiles,” as taught by Pete Christy and Johnny White. The Seekers class meets each Sunday at 9:45 in classroom 2.
